Fun lunch tomorrow -
We did a little brainstorming about what elements we would find in a fairy tale. Suggestions were made for magic, Once upon a time, happy endings, royalty etc. We then brainstormed fairy tales we are familiar with such as Cinderella, Little Mermaid, The Three Little Pigs, thank goodness for Mr. Disney and his love for bringing these stories to life on the big screen. This week and next we will be identifying types of literature such as fairy tales and reading a few new stories.
We have almost wrapped up our unit on multiplication. Your student should be able to identify an array, tell the addition and multiplication equation that matches it and solve problems. We have created a nice hallway display of our math/art work from the last couple of weeks and we hope you get the opportunity to see it!
We were also in the library today for book exchange so everyone has new material for 20/10 tonight!
