Mother Nature was not cooperating with us this morning to allow for our cross country ski lesson. Tomorrow doesn't look hopeful either. We are aiming to give skiing a try on Wednesday. Fingers crossed. Everyone cooperate.
Sticker math this morning had us thinking in arrays and using money all at once. Ask your student how they got started this morning and we will finish up tomorrow. We are wrapping up our multiplication unit and getting ready to move onto division.
Last week we read Princess Hyacinth the Surprising Tale of a Girl Who Floated when we started looking at what we could find in a fairy tale - today we drew and labeled the problem and solution from that story and we wrote about the contractions that we could find.
Science projects are due Thursday - your student has a handout in their backpack.
Science today had us looking at good ole Bill Nye and his Sound video. We then labelled all the parts of the ear and talked about their function.
