Paul Klee and math

Next week we will cross country ski on the school field with the Foothills Nordic Ski Club.  There is no cost to students but proper dress is required on their part.  Hat, mittens, jacket and snow pants - all the things good Canadian children wear to school daily!  There is a notice in a back pack near you from Mr. Sadowsky outlining the plan.

We looked at the art work of Paul Klee this morning.  He was a Swiss German artist that experimented with color and different art forms.  We used his idea of color and put it into our multiplication basic facts creating a tessellation of sorts.  His work depicted his sense of humor and moods and we are trying to capture that in our work.  MART.  Such fun to integrate the two components.
