Our first day of swimming was a success! Everyone got wet and had some fun. We will swim tomorrow and that will be it for this week. Next week we will swim Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
We've been talking about making connections while we read and in math to help us make sense of the information. Today we used sketches as a way of helping us think about our connections in science. We looked at Magic School Bus in the Haunted House sketched something from the video and made connections and wrote facts around our sketched. For example, sound waves make me think of ripples of water. Paying attention to the connections will help us understand and learn.
