Alphabetical Order

Today we used the new vocabulary from Wanted!! Ralfy Book Burglar that we read yesterday and played a game to determine the meaning of the new words.  We then took those 12 words and put them into alphabetical order.  Some of the words required us to look to the second and third letters to determine which order they need to be in.  This is something you and your little learner can do at the dinner table, or while driving - talking about which word comes first when thinking about A,B,C order.

We continue to skip count and add and subtract larger numbers.  Basic facts are something that can also be worked on at home.  We are all responsible for addition and subtraction to 18.  Grade 4's should now have two packages of work handed in to me for marking.  Please ask your student if their math has come home for homework.

Waste In Our World is our current science unit.  We have defined waste and are becoming aware of the four types of waste.
