Tomorrow is Terry Fox day at Beddington Heights.
Please help us reach our goal of $500.00 by sending a toonie for Terry.
We have been working hard to answer the question, "Who was Terry Fox?" We have looked at some videos, read a few books, had several discussions, shared out thinking and even read a letter from Terry's brother to the children of Beddington Heights!
We have been skip counting by 2, 5 and 10 in math. Next we will review odd and even numbers on ten frames.
"What is a scientist?" is a question we began exploring today with a video and discussion.
Wednesday will be Orange Shirt Day at Beddington - please wear orange for our smudging ceremony at 8:30 am. We started a discussion of residential schools by reading Shi-Shi-Etko this morning. Shi-Shi-Etko was going away to a residential school and collecting memories from her home to take with her. We helped her to make a memory bag.
No school Thursday
