Patience is the fifth pillar of the month for September at Beddington. Today after reading the story,
'The Impatient Caterpillar' we discussed all the ways someone in a classroom might be impatient and created ourselves a list of non-examples. We thought of, cutting in line, being rude, yelling out, being distracted etc. We really had a good time coming up with those! Then we brainstormed what being patient looks like, and can be in our school.
Work continues with putting together a one hundreds chart. We have determined one must look closely at all the numbers and what goes around a number.
Word work activity today was around rhyming words and their spelling patterns.
