In a backpack near you there are COVID - 19 rapid testing forms. AHS will be in our building on Tuesday to screen students. Please sign and return the forms on Monday if you wish for your child to participate in the program. If you do not want your child to be tested the forms do not need to be returned.
We read, "The Medicine Wheel: Stories of a Hoop Dancer," looked at a National Film Board video of hoop dancing and then built our own version of a medicine wheel this morning. We also looked at pictures of the medicine wheel on Nose Hill. It is located on the east side of Nose Hill over looking 14 Street NW. If you were to park behind the 3 district police station and the Calgary Winter Club and use the set of stairs there you will arrive at the medicine wheel. Little learners were keen on visiting the medicine wheel and sharing their knowledge with you. Great Father's day activity.
