The poppy puzzle we created in our classroom with words of remembrance around the edges. The picture of Corporal B.G. Anderson was taken in 1942 before my father-in-law was shipped to Italy to fight during World War II. He was injured during a battle and sent home to recover.
At Beddington Heights today we stopped to remember all those who went to war for us to ensure the freedoms we enjoy today. Lest we forget.
No school tomorrow or Friday.
