Our first lockdown practise was held today and a great job was done by all. Everyone was at the green dot quickly and able to stay quiet. Ask your little learner how a lockdown makes them feel.
We went on a rock hunt this morning through the buckets of rocks from our science room. We were examining them and classifying them based on their shape, texture and colour. There are many interesting rocks to be had!
Our work on the comprehension strategy of visualizing continues. Good readers not only see pictures in their head but they can also use their other senses to hear sounds, taste tastes and feel the emotions of the characters. We kept track of the words that put pictures in our heads and drew what we were seeing.
