We started a little painting project this afternoon with acrylic paint. If you've never painted with 23 8 and 9 year olds in a room with no sink it is an experience! Watch for your students project to come home next week.
Next Thursday is Valentine's Day and students in room 11 are welcome to bring a valentine for each person in the classroom. Due to the Freedom of Information and Protection act I cannot send home a list of student names. I would suggest that students just sign the card with their own name and not worry about addressing individual names also making it much easier to deliver the valentine. Please do not send little treats along with the valentine as we do have allergies and food restrictions.
Thank you for the snow pants, hats mitts and gloves! We did go out for lunch today and 20 minutes is a long time if you are not prepared. Looking forward to the warm up!
